Why a mobile repair service makes sense up here

North Berkshire is spread out. Getting a phone fixed used to mean a drive down Route 7 to Pittsfield, a wait in a mall corridor, and a second trip to pick it up — a half day gone for a forty-minute job. In winter, on the Mohawk Trail, with one working vehicle in the household, that’s worse than a cracked screen.

Driving to the customer flips it. The repair happens in your driveway while dinner’s on, in the lot behind your shop between shifts, or outside a Williams dorm for a student with no car. Same parts, same tools, same warranty — without the trip.

It also means older people, people without transportation, and people working two jobs can actually get a repair instead of living with a broken phone. That’s most of why this business exists.
