Northern Mobile Repair is a Williamstown-based, owner-operated repair service. When you call, you get the person who will actually be fixing your phone.
Why I started this
I kept hearing the same story from people around town: the screen cracked weeks ago, the nearest place to get it fixed is a drive they can’t easily make, and so they’re living with glass splinters in their thumb. A phone isn’t a luxury anymore — it’s how you get called in for a shift, how you reach your kid’s school, how you pay for things.
So instead of asking people to come to a counter, I bring the repair to them. The tools ride with me, and the work happens at your kitchen table, your tailgate, or the lot where you already are. Same tools a shop uses, same quality parts, done in front of you — and you keep your plans for the day.
Some parts I can put my hands on quickly; others I order in once you give me the go-ahead. You’ll know which one it is when I give you the price, not after.
This is a small local business, not a chain, and I’m building it one repair at a time in the town I live in. I answer the phone, I do the work, and my name is on it. If I ever can’t fix something, I’ll tell you plainly and I won’t charge you for looking.
